A “What’s Old is New” Bar Cabinet – Part 1

And so it begins, this 1951 RCA television cabinet, complete with service manual, is about to become a spiffy new bar cabinet.

First we removed the receiver:

Then (carefully!) the magnets and tube:

Anyway, with all the TV guts removed, we got a look at the empty cabinet:

Then we reinstalled just the bezel:

We like where this is headed. We’ll keep you posted!
