Apple, Vanilla, and Bourbon, Oh My!

Yes, this will probably be in a video soon, along with a yummy cocktail, but this is a perennial favorite here and ridiculously easy to prepare.

  1. Split 1 fresh vanilla bean lengthwise
  2. Put it in a container
  3. Add 3 cored Granny Smith apples cut into wedges
  4. Add 2-1/2 cups of Bourbon (works well with Makers Mark)
  5. Cover and place in the refrigerator for  3 days
  6. Strain with a paper coffee filter

That’s it! It’s nice on the rocks and works very well in cocktails!
